Built in 1883, it consisted of a round iron tower, a lightkeepers cottage and a storehouse. Originally lit by oil lamps, it has passed through electricity and is now fully automated with solar charged batteries.
Wilma - As I approched the light house I swear I heard sirens. My first thought was, nah, there is no such thing. My next thought was, if there is no such thing why am I headed for the rocks :-). As always, thank you for your kind comments and feedback.
